Wembley Park is among three new venues in the 2017 Tour Series.
Aberdeen and Northwich will also join the 10-round competition as BIKE Channel Canyon aim to make their mark in the team-based city centre crit series.
Details for the ninth season of the championship were unveiled at Wembley Park today, with a revamped calendar ensuring the entire series takes place in May.
For the first time ever, there will be a bank holiday finale with Stevenage hosting round 10 on Monday, May 29.
And organisers have introduced two Saturday night events in Bath and Durham, with the former set on a new circuit in the heart of the city on May 20.
The Wembley Park race on May 16 will take place on a 1.5km circuit which includes the concourse of Wembley Stadium and Olympic Way, commonly known as Wembley Way.
BIKE Channel Canyon will compete for the crown with defending champions JLT Condor, ONE Pro Cycling, Madison Genesis, Metaltek Kuota and the debut-making Morvélo Basso.
Racing begins on Tuesday, May 9 in Redditch, where Jack Pullar and Rory Townsend contributed to a maiden victory for Pedal Heaven last season.
The opening round will also feature a team time trial for the men before the competition rolls on to Stoke on Thursday, May 11 and Northwich the following night.
Northwich boy Matt Nowell revealed he had to ask sports director Tim Elverson “if he had misspelt Norwich” when he saw the Tour Series schedule.
Mick Bennett, race director of organisers SweetSpot, said:
“This year’s series has a fantastic range of venues, including new events that will bring the racing to new audiences.
“There are more women’s teams than ever before, reflecting the growth of the women’s sport, while the line-up of men’s teams is incredibly strong, with no clear favourite among them for the Tour Series title.
“Fans at all of our venues and at home watching on ITV4 can look forward to some amazing racing from these top-class athletes, as the Tour Series continues to provide an unparalleled platform of action, entertainment and engagement for all of our partners.”
The Matrix Fitness Grand Prix Series will once again run alongside, with 13 teams involved in eight women’s rounds.
BIKE Channel Canyon partners Brother UK will be the official results partners and sponsor the fastest lap competition for a second successive year.
Leading alcohol-free wine brand Eisberg, who are also partners of the team, are among the backers for the series and will sponsor the women’s points jersey.
Highlights of every Tour Series round will be shown on ITV4, with programmes also be available on demand via the ITV Hub.
