Eisberg have insisted the decision to extend their sponsorship was a no-brainer.
The UK’s best selling alcohol-free wine brand have stepped up to become headline partners for the 2018 campaign.
They replace BIKE Channel UK, who went into administration in September, and join Canyon Bicycles at the head of affairs for the UCI Continental outfit.
Andrew Turner, director of wine at the brand-owning Halewood Wines & Spirits, was delighted at Eisberg’s first season with the team.
Sharing the squad’s success at home and abroad, he revealed the opportunity to step up that involvement was not to be missed. Turner said:
“In 2016, Eisberg was looking to extend its cycling sponsorship into a UK-based team. Tim’s vision and passion was exactly what we were looking for.
“This was further enforced by the belief and relevance in the product. We wanted to raise the profile of our brand but in a positive and authentic way.
“The team exceeded all expectations and therefore extending our level of sponsorship was an obvious and natural next step.
“We are excited to see how the team progresses in 2018.”
Canyon Eisberg’s sports director Tim Elverson revealed his new-look set-up for 2018 on Monday, January 1.
