dhb have revealed their pride in returning to the professional peloton as the official kit supplier of Canyon Eisberg for the 2018 campaign.
As a UCI Continental outfit, Tim Elverson’s squad will compete in a variety of races across Europe with high-profile events such as the Tour de Yorkshire and Tour of Britain once again on the radar.
The team will be wearing dhb’s hotly-anticipated new Aeron LAB collection and the riders’ experiences will be fundamental to how the range develops.
Rich Land, senior product manager at Portsmouth-based dhb, has already been bowled over by the squad’s enthusiasm for the kit. He said:
“One of the most positive things about this whole partnership is Canyon Eisberg chose dhb over and above other, bigger brands.
“It’s a real testament to everything the team has worked towards, to be recognised for the quality of the kit we’re creating and the ethos of us as a team. Everyone is buzzing.
“Getting feedback from a team of pro riders is really going to push our kit to the next level. We’re making a huge statement of intent with Aeron LAB and, really, it’s just the beginning.
“These riders know exactly what they need, exactly what works and what doesn’t. Listening to this, feeding it into development conversations and ensuring it’s relevant for our customers’ requirements all helps us to take our kit to the next level every season.
“The riders’ perception and comments about the kit has just been incredible. Suddenly we’re seeing all the benefits of the minute attention to detail put into every feature of the new Aeron LAB collection. We can’t wait to see it in action.”
Elverson has every confidence in the exciting partnership between the two Hampshire-based operations, too.
He reckons dhb’s determination to keep raising their game, with the help of rider feedback, will be of huge mutual benefit. The Canyon Eisberg sports director added:
“dhb think in the same way we do. We’re both on a journey to improve, learn and achieve more.
“In the same way Canyon Eisberg seek to nurture new talent and grow as a team, dhb supports people from every level of cycling and I really like that.
“As a team, we’re all really excited about having somewhere to direct feedback to, to people we know are listening.
“One of the key reasons I chose to work with dhb is the team’s ambition to improve with every season.
“We’ll work collaboratively to test and improve products. Seeing that then affect the product that will be on sale to dhb customers is really exciting for us.”
Dedicated to ensuring you enjoy every ride, dhb focuses on performance, quality and considered design.
Aeron LAB enhances their best-selling Aeron collection. More than two years in development, Aeron LAB breaks new ground for dhb, with innovative technologies, new industry-leading fabric partners and a relentless attention to detail.
It’s “a real game-changer,” according to Kirsty Smith, marketing manager at dhb, who have previously supplied kit to women’s professional team Wiggle Honda.
This partnership with Canyon Eisberg builds on dhb’s commitment to supporting all levels of cyclists and comes shortly after their announcement they are an official partner of the Herne Hill Velodrome.
